All please rise!

The advertisements say that "court is now in session."  Indeed it is.  That's because a rebooted Night Court airs tonight on NBC and the Peacock app tomorrow.  The original Night Court was and is an awesome sitcom that entertains even today.

The new version features only one of the original actors as at least two are dead.  John Larroquette returns as Dan Fielding, an ADA.  The show starts with Big Bang Theory actress Melissa Rauch, who plays the daughter of Judge Harold Stone, and although two of the original's cast members are alive, the reboot is just that; it's a reboot that promises to suck.

I won't be watching the reboot, but I will continue to watch the original.  Will the show do well?  Time will tell, but I predict that the show will be canceled after the first few episodes.
